Adventist Book Center Report

Year In Review (2021-2025)

Most organizations have a mission statement. The purpose of this statement is to guide the decision-making process and to clarify its purpose. It also keeps the organization focused on what is of utmost importance. The Northeastern ABC is no exception.

Embedded in our mission statement are the words: “The Northeastern ABC exists to help people live a healthy and productive lifestyle with the intention of showing them the way to Christ.” This is what drives us. This is what keeps us going day after day, week after week, year after year.

Our mission is what helps us to pivot in the face of rising prices, fierce competition, and the sea of uncertainty.

We have had to make many changes over the years, one of which is the incorporation of a juice bar to help us serve our community in a more practical way.

By the grace of God, we weathered COVID, and although we experienced a decline in sales, the mission still drives us to focus on what is most important: continuing to be a lighthouse in a world that is growing darker.

The Bible is still our #1 seller, thank the Lord. In addition to this, we sell thousands of sharing books every month. This encourages us to know that the Gospel is still being proclaimed and helps to motivate us to keep the faith. We thank all our churches for supporting the ministry and we especially want to thank the following churches for their outstanding support: Jamaica, Solid Rock, Brooklyn Faith, Calvary (CT), Queens Faith (Greater NY), Victory Fellowship Worship Center, Ephesus, Mount Vernon, Spring Valley, New Life, Hanson Place, Queensboro Ebenezer(Long Island) and South Ozone Park. These churches spent a combined total of $ $146,562.37 over the quadrennium. Thank you so much!!!!

No man works in isolation. Thank you, team, for your commitment, dedication, and support of the ABC ministry. Thank you: Titus Boyce, Keisha Tomlinson (Accountant), San Sebastian Stewart, Shamar Wilson, Timothy Boyce, and Rebecca Scott, along with our summer workers. Special thanks to Julie Ann Daley, our former accountant, who accepted a call to the South-Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2024. Julie’s accounting skills, her meticulous organizational skills, her wit and dry sense of humor, along with her integrity and daily work ethic, are not only admired from a distance but appreciated and respected up close.

I also thank the Northeastern Administration and the constituents for their support and trust in our team to be responsible, committed, focused, and faithful in proclaiming the word of God through the ABC ministry.
